Inhale: The Work of Love
A two-day Holotropic Breathwork journey with Reinhard Gaida & Balazs Toth
“For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks… the work for which all other work is but preparation.”
— Rainer Maria Rilke
We take Rilke at his word: that to love another is among the worthiest of our labors — and asks the most of us.
The work of this weekend is individual, yet never only for ourselves. What shifts within us moves, in time, through all our relationships. It begins with who we already are.
In non-ordinary states, the patterns we each carry tend to surface on their own: old protections and longings, grief and tenderness, the many shapes of how we love and how that loving changes. The breath becomes our way in — a way to meet whatever rises, gently or fiercely, and to let it move through us.
Come longing, grieving, hopeful, or unsure: there is room here for all of it, and for the love that already lives in us, reaching toward one another.
And then, together, we exhale.
How it works
Holotropic Breathwork® uses deep, conscious breathing and evocative music to open access to layers of yourself that everyday awareness keeps quiet. No experience is needed, and nothing has to be fixed — the facilitators hold a safe, supported space, and your own process unfolds at its own pace.
Over the two days we breathe twice: each of us takes a turn as breather and a turn as sitter — once making the journey, once holding space for another. To be held while you breathe, and to hold while another does, is already a kind of relationship, practiced in the body.
Afterwards there is time to let the experience settle — through journaling, drawing, or movement — and a sharing circle to ground what surfaced and carry it into daily life.
Your facilitators
Reinhard Gaida and Balazs Toth are both certified Holotropic Breathwork facilitators in the lineage of Dr. Stanislav Grof. Balazs is certified through both of Grof’s training lineages; Reinhard brings a background in coaching and therapeutic work (a Master’s in Coaching, with NLP, hypnosis, and counseling). Two paths into the same work — together they hold a steady, supportive space.
